Excitable, inquisitive, friendly
Important: we are taking some time to socialise Mortimer before inviting adoption. Watch this space for news. A very lively, entertaining little boy who reacts very well to an audience. Not phased by a cat in the room but the humans need to be sensible, young cats could be an issue. Some of us are learning a lot about extra small people right now, and Mortimer is very happy to teach us. In his own words: Hi! My name is Mortimer and I am a gerbil. I am very timid but I can learn to trust humans with lots of time and patience. I am adorable with a huge personality. While I’m still not used to you please don’t try to catch me with your hands as I will struggle and end up spraining something. My current foster parent catches me like a spider with a large see-through box. I will need a 70cm x 35 cm cage (the bigger the better) and will want 15 minutes of play time outside my cage at least every other day, preferably every day. I’m looking for an owner who can take the time to earn my trust. Love and Whiskers, Mortimer x
