Meet Harry and Edith, two beautiful souls, both 11 years old, who have shared every single chapter of their lives side by side. Now, through no fault of their own, they find themselves at BARKS, waiting for the one thing they’ve always known: home. They have been together all their lives, and they must stay together. To separate them would mean breaking the deepest bond they know, the comfort, safety, and love they have always given each other. Harry, our gentle tortie, is quiet and steady, drawing reassurance from Edith’s presence. Edith, the stunning black beauty with her bright, expressive eyes, watches the world carefully, always close to Harry’s side. You can see the hope in her gaze, the hope that someone will finally choose them. BARKS is not their furrever home, and they know it. They haven’t been able to fully relax or feel truly at ease. Each day they wait, listening for footsteps, hearts lifting every time the door opens… wondering if this might be the moment their person arrives. They are searching for someone with a kind heart, someone willing to open their home, their sofa, and their soul to two senior cats who still have so much love to give. If you feel that tug in your chest… if you think “I could be their person” please reach out.
