Join Young BARKS

In return for your family taking joint membership at £15 a year, we welcome you into Young BARKS. You’ll make new friends who love animals as much as you do. You work in a team, cleaning pens, feeding and socialising cats - while dodging dogs, chickens and other pets!

Kindness and tolerance are both key to working with us. We know that young people are the future of animal care and so we’ll guide and encourage you, offering the chance to lead the team and test your pack skills!  

If you’re taking part in Duke of Edinburgh schemes - at Bronze, Silver or Gold levels - then join Young BARKS as a volunteer. If you’d like to expand the experience we’ll gladly involve you in fundraising or PR activities; you just need to ask.
