At BARKS, we’re run 100% on donations, fundraising and a whole heap of goodwill.
We’re determined to help every furry little face that crosses our threshold.
And that’s where you come in. ...
To help BARKS in our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals, all you have to do is pick the donation or support option(s) that suit you best, and you’re on your way to saving a lost and lonely animal.

Can you provide a haven full of care and cuddles? It’s an enriching role - and the fostering can be short or longer-term, one-off or repeated, depending on your situation.
Do you have space in your home to give temporary shelter to a BARKS rescue animal while they recuperate and wait for their new home?
Alternatively, do you have enough love to give to an elderly cat looking for long-term, rest-of-life care?
When you run a charity based 100% on donations, fundraising is the name of the game!
At BARKS, we’re not only on the look-out for generous volunteers to help at our regular fundraising dates; we also need creative bods to come up with and lead exciting new ideas for our small team to deliver. Sadly, not all animals can be re-homed; but BARKS will never put a healthy animal to sleep. That’s why some animals become permanent residents at our BARKS care centres. With their long-term health conditions, these little fellows need extra special care and attention at a haven where they can spend the rest of their days warm and loved. To cover the costs of their care and treatment, they rely on sponsorship.Find out more
